National Seminar: Transformational Strategy For Emerging World Of Business organized in New Delhi. On 02-feb-2019, National Seminar on “Transformation Strategies for the emerging world of business” was organized by Lal Bhadur Shastri Institute Of Management And Technology at India International Centre, New Delhi. Seminar was inaugurated by former Central Minister and Chairman for institute Mr.AnilShastri , Shri K.J Jawa(Managing Director and CEO) ,Daikin air conditioning India), Shri S.Y.Siddiqui(Chief Mentor Maruti Suzuki Limited), institute head Dr.SanjivSrivastav, Director Prof.Rajendra Bharti. They lighted lamp and paid floral tribute to Shri Lal Bhadur Shastri ji. In his key-note Shri S.Y.Siddiqui,ChiefMentor,Maruti Suzuki Limited said that transformation starts at the top level. He said that in the coming time BS-IV vehicles will be replaced to BS-VI vehicles and top many should transform in the emerging world business and also dicussed about three box theory. In his Presidential address Shri Anil Shastri said that commiting mistakes is a learning process,so one should not be scared from mistakes and failure.He said that focused on ethical, business and consumer transformation. In seminar expert session Shri AbhayKapoor,RLeader,North Amazon India divided his deliberation into five main parts-Globalization,Changing need of customers,technology,agile workforce and people. In this session,another speaker Brig.SurendraKumar,Chief General Manager,Admin IFFCO said transformation is everywhere .It keeps on changing.Transformation revolves around two things i.e;to generate new values and to evolve new opportunities. He also discussed about product market and capital market.And he concluded by saying that think big,domistake,fall,get up and then transform yourself. Another speaker,Shri SubhashJagota, Founder and CEO Global Business Solution,said that if you want to boom then you have to market your product and then sales will follow automatically.To achieve success you must leverage multiple intelligence of team. Shri Achal Sharma focused on the technology is enabler or driver and then concluded that technology is both enabler and driver. Next Session’s speaker Ms.RunaMaitra said to adapt the opportunity with new skills,ability to work with generations and great consumer of today’s world. In expert session speaker Sanjay Shrottya said that the organizations of the future will function as a platforms connecting diverse,distributed and multi talented individuals who will come together to create value. The senior PGDM students of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management & Technology, Bareilly, organized a fun-filled freshers party on Friday, September 15, 2017 to welcome their juniors. The party started with blessings of Director of the Institute Prof. Rajendra P. Bharti. He emphasized on the relationship between senior and juniors as a building block to help them grow for management learning and achievement. Party was continued by great enthusiasm by the comperer Archit Agarwal, Ankita Mishra and Parichay. The party was a vibrant affair with seniors, juniors and faculty members. The senior students i.e. Tanshi, Radhika performed on ‘Na Ja & Panjtara’, Tasim performed the locking & popping dance number on “Na na na.., Kaho na payar hai,, Harshita performed on sizzling dance numbers on Kamli kamli, and London thumakda. The juniors showcast their talent through various dancing performances, vocal singing, poety recitation and random sketching. Kajol Parashar, Ankita Mishra conducted various one minute games like sticking the bangles, exchanging marbles with fork etc. There was contest of Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher which included ramp walk, talent round and question-answer round. Yukti Bhatia and Anmol Sharma were declared as Ms. Fresher and Mr. Fresher. The faculty members of LBSIMT wished them a successful career.

Prof. Rajendra P. Bharti who has been leading LBS Institute of Management & Technology Bareilly for last 16 Years has been awarded OUTSTANDING B. SCHOOL DIRECTOR AWARD by AIMS International (Headquartered in Houston U.S.A & IRMA) on Dec. 26th 2016 in an International Conference at MICA Ahmedabad. Prof. Bharti has been given this award for his significant contribution towards management education.

Shri Pradeep Bakshi highlighted several facts about resurgent economy of our country, he stated that with 7.8% GDP India contributed highest in the globe to this mark. India has over taken china on GDP inflation has been reduced from double digit to 5-6%. As per CAGR data, per capita income shall rise by 8.6 % for next five years. He focused on several positive aspects of Indian economy. while sharing his view on demonetization he said we need to wait for some time to reap the dividends, their might be impact of Brexit on Indian business in coming years, business with US shall also be impacted with presidential electoral winning by Donald. He suggested to create an eco-system which self-reliant and sustainable. He emphasized, risk management is more important in this time, when the risks are higher so are the opportunities. Shri Anil Shastri ji emphasized upon importance of innovation and managerial challenges, the young managers face in the organization. On this occasion a book on the life of Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, authored by director of LBSIMT, Bareilly, and Prof. Rajendra Bharti was inaugurated by Shri Shivraj Patil, Former Governor of Punjab and special session to commemorate the 99th birth anniversary of Smt. Indira Gandhi. Shri Shivraj Patil told about the importance of the book of shri Lal bhadhur shastri ji which would be beneficial for future generation and remembered smt. Indira Gandhi, her determination and her visionary approach. He emphasized on resurgence in terms of science and technolgy. Shri P Dwarkanath, emphasised upon role of manager in this critical situation. The Chief Guest was Padmashree Dr. Pritam Singh, CEO, LEAD Centre, Gurgaon & Former Director-IIM Lucknow & MDI Gurgaon. In this function, diplomas were awarded to PGDM (full time) 2011-2013, 2012-2014 & 2013-2015. Chief Guest Dr. Pritam Singh congratulated the recipients of diploma and emphasized on relevance of the five mantras Vision, Mission, Purpose, Value and Determination and also shared the relation between Shiksha & Diksha and Dharma & Karma. He said that in the coming years LBSIMT will emerge as a center of excellence at national level.
